An extension of Robot
From conversation to companionship
Meet PuppyRobot’s physical companion
Puppy brings Robot’s intelligence into the physical world.
Built on a Raspberry Pi-powered PiCar-X robotic platform, Puppy is an experimental AI-powered companion designed to interact through natural speech, respond to questions, and explore simple physical movements.
Puppy is being developed as an extension of Robot, rather than a separate AI assistant. The goal is to allow a physical robot to access Robot’s intelligence and supported capabilities through a friendly, voice-controlled interface.
Key capabilities under development
- Voice interaction through a microphone and speaker
- Wake-word activation
- Natural-language questions and spoken responses
- Controlled movement with obstacle-detection safeguards
- Integration with Robot’s central AI system
An experimental prototype. Physical operation is subject to safety controls and supervised testing. Capabilities remain in development and availability varies. Puppy’s voice service has not been approved for continuous operation.
